Blue Dragon does CFDocument. They just have a custom tag to provide the same
functionality.
Remember, CFDocument is just using iText anyway, it's not a native function
of CF. So you can always install iText (FREE) and call it natively.

Thanks everyone. Didn't expect 3 replies so quickly! :-) I've had my eye on
Blue Dragon for a few years but I really need CF7 features such as
CFDOCUMENT. My app will need to produce loads of PDF files on demand. Prior
to that I was looking at PDF COM objects which was horrid in comparison.

Terry, will look into that link you gave me. Interesting.

Russ, will try out filemon too. Sounds like a cool tool I used in the old
Amiga days called SnoopDOS or something.

Robin, no firewalls or AV stuff running. All systems are naked for now. I
don't think configuring the web server is the main problem because Jrun
complaints about JNDI not responding on a certain port, plus the Jrun CF
service won't start.

Will play with the new info that you guys have given me. Your interest and
sympathy helps a lot, honestly. After Macromedia telling me to shove off I
need a hug. ;-)

Cheers all,
Gary.
