Unfortunately OOo doesn't do SVG
I am doing another banner in any case because as you pointed out the
gradient doesn't render well in printing in B&W so it's a moot point
If you replace the current file please take into account to replace
OOo2.0 by OOo2.
I'd prefer to include png graphics in larger scale (exported by the
vector program) to pure vector formats (like SVG or original Draw files)
because of the antialiasing issue in OOo
(http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=28526).
