The LGPL is noted, but the point of this line is that there are no
license _fees_.

In this particular instance the free=freedom is implied because of
context.  From a selling POV Free is snappy, Freedom is clumsy.  It's a
debate that has gone on for a long time, but that debate is around the
word in isolation, however the ambivalence is removed in context in this
case
