Hi Charles,
My company's community server already offers some service to OOo
localizers. Provided that this gets accepted by the MP leads (you and
John) and perhaps the CC, I can try to set up something. See:

thanks for the offer, that sounds good!
What we need would be an upload script, where people can upload files,
and some interface where people can download what has been uploaded.
It's only a temporary holder, so after a while, files can be purged
automatically (or get uploaded onto Documents&Files).
The idea of putting it onto Documents&Files, in the case that a file
needs to be kept, is good. But the deletion of the Files in the
temporary repository should not be automated, in case that a file
has not been "archived" yet.
I would propose that the interface where people can download files,
can either list the files sorted by date, by file name, or
documenttype (e.g. *.jpg *.pdf *.png...). Then there is another UI,
where files can be deleted, with the functionality that files prior
to a specific date can be deleted. The command to delete those files
still needs to come from a user, that way this user can check with
the rest, whether there are files that still need to be archived.
Would that fit everyones needs?
