Can you guys start discussing these matters on a public list so
others can participate in the discussion or at least follow the trend?

I have been very interested in building an Avalon component
version of Maven for the longest time and as you know Dion
pointed out the work you have been doing on maven-new.
The last time I spoke to you your response seemed hurried and
that you did not have time to even respond to me. And I
understand that you are a very busy guy - I see all the
products of your labor and would not want to slow you down.
But my point is if the discussion were made public the community
could listen, follow and even participate in the discussion.
I guess I want to be more informed about this maven 'service'
direction but that takes a public forum if you are on the
outside like myself.

Alex
