However, I would suggest that you look more closely at you own role and value to Apache rather than mine in terms of value contribution. You have in the past provided an important contribution to the Maven project and through this, a sense of what what it means to collaborate in the real sense of the word. I know that you agree with me with respect to our sentiments concerning the development of Apache, and general collaboration across respective Apache communities. While we probably have differences of opinions concerning PMC due-diligence and aspect relating to ownership and control - I remain confident that you have the potential to set an example for other project here in Apache to follow.
