and others think they know what Patrick/Ed thinks and answer for
him. Another point.
I don't think I know what they want and I don't care.
I care about the fact that Mac users are sick to be told that
mentioning NO on the lists is taboo because you guys have an issue with
the way the NO team work.
Oscar was very clear about how they were thankful about the porting
effort, and OOo is referenced all over the place in their press
release.
I think it is only fair that, at least once, the OOo/OSX porting crowd
could return the thanks for the work the NO group is doing so that your
code is used by a category of users who can't have access to it right
now.
It is not by complaining about people that you'll have them
collaborate. And it is not by complaining that you'll have users taking
your work seriously.
