Sorry, I obviously wasn't thinking clearly when I wrote that previous
message - if JS is disabled, then the user won't even get to see the
button (since that relies on JavaScript too). I've made this sound
more complex than it is - all you would need to do is call
writeJavaSelector() on the download button on both the homepage and
download page in the case that a JRE cannot be detected.

Those that have JS disabled will just have to go to the page with the
mirror links.
