And also I very much appreciate Kay's efforts to fix the issue of the JRE.
It works great here (Firefox 3, Ubuntu 7.04). Just a note however:
The 'error message' in case of no JRE detected is way too long imho. I'd
simply add (and include Java) with a questionmark / tooltip assigned that
explains why, and what they can do about it. Most users won't even care
about it (except for the increased download speed, but that is way to
difficult to explain if also the added benefit should be discussed)
OK...I'll shorten it. Maybe you're right...too much information.
Can't participate in much right now, got a full time job now (as user
experience designer), and redecorating my new home is consuming my spare
time lately :/
