This is potentially a bigger problem than just the vanity aliases,
because the fedoraproject.org domain is also used as the sender
domain for automated / machine emails our infrastructure/tools
send.

At least we separated mailing lists off into its own sub-domain,
but having both those remaining use cases under the same domain
feels less than ideal. Hopefully we don't ever get any clashes
from a new contributor account name and a valid machine sender
address, as I'm guessing nothing enforces any separation ?

If we want a mail service for contributors, should we consider use
of the separate "fedorapeople.org" domain for this, reserving the
"fedoraproject.org" domain for trusted project services to use for
outbound mail ?

This would reduce the risk that contributor mails getting classed
as spam, would impact the reputation for the domain used for
project services which send mail.
