I've been considering using Thunderbird for Desktop, and FairEmail for
Android. The problem is that both of these can only help send as a
@fedoraproject.org email only if I have access to an SMTP server that
allows sending using a @fedoraproject.org address, and this project
doesn't provide one. It's getting harder and harder to use 3rd party
SMTP servers, because of security restrictions to prevent using their
service to send spam. I am really struggling to find a good path
forward here. I would use an alias using GMail's "+whatever" feature,
like "[email protected] (alias for [email protected])",
but so many places won't let me put in a plus sign in an email
address, even though it's a valid email address character.
