But has their been a increase of that recently? I haven't seen such (and I run my own mail services). > I've also seen a few e-mails on devel landing in spam (via > GMail on the receiving end), mostly from RH addresses. Yeah, this was likely due to a DMARC issue that has since been worked around for the lists. Basically: redhat.com has a DMARC policy externally, but does not internally where our mailman queries, so it didn't think it needed to mitigate those addresses, but it did. We now have an override that mitigates those addresses always. I've seen gmail mark more things as spam lately, but I can't really see a pattern. > > I suppose google keeps telling everyone that they have to have DKIM, but > > they have said that for a long while and yet emails go through? > > > > We do have SPF and DMARC (all be it in a permissive way). > > Now it's my turn to learn a new spelling ;-) > > > > > Adding locked down DMARC/SPF/DKIM is not any kind of surity that the > > email will be accepted. > > Sure. > > My point is that we should decide on a setup and recommendation that is > working most of the time. Sure, I'd prefer to just leave it as it is now... but if it becomes more clear that that is less desireable than alternatives we can of course change it. kevin -- _______________________________________________ devel mailing list -- [email protected] To unsubscribe send an email to [email protected] Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/[email protected] Do not reply to spam, report it: https://forge.fedoraproject.org/infra/tickets/issues/new
