Paying the renewal fee to who?  Not to OpenSRS, the RSP is the one
responsible for that.  You are responsible to the RSP, and that is why
you have nothing to do with OpenSRS.

You don't buy the real estate, you lease it, and get to keep using it
as long as you make your lease payments TO THE RSP.
