Interesting concept you have...the owner of the domain name
is only leasing it.  If that's true, how is the owner able to sell
the domain name whenever he choses, to whomever he chooses,
without the permission of either the reseller or the OpenSRS??

If I understand you correctly, you're saying that since the buyer
sends renewal fees to you, you (the reseller) own the domain 
name and the buyer (owner) is just leasing it from you. And if the
owner decides to use a different reseller to renew his domain name...

Unless you are acting as a DNS or providing other technical services
to the owner of the domain name (and many of the resellers provide
absolutely no other services), you should have no right to control any
of the information concerning the domain name...let alone consider 
yourself as the Tech Contact for the website.

You are performing as a middleman for the OpenSRS.  If your performance
is poor, the owner of the domain name will simply find another reseller to
renew the name.
