You should advise your client to enter any old information during the
*initial* entering of information; then, we send an email to the registrant
that allows them to choose whether to 'create a new registrant' or to use
registrant information from a previously registered domain.

The reason there is trouble inheriting information from existing .ca domains
at the point of registration is because that system was designed to work
with the old CDNNET database, to facilitate pre-registrations....and as
names are preregistered, and moved out of the CDNNET database, the feature
becomes less and less useful. We are re-engineering the .ca processes, but
we're waiting until pre-registrations are a non issue.
