Hello,

A couple of possible explanations, and one overarching reason that they
don't really matter.

Explanation 1) If you are using the username, password and domain from an
EXISTING OpenSRS profile, then you should use the Preveious Domain, Username
and Password fields in the RWI order form to recall the information you'd
like (I just tested this in LIVE before sending this email). Don't use the
'Existing .CA Name Section'; again, that feature was intended to pull
information from CDNNET to facilitate 'pre-registrations'.

Explanation 2) You can only use the 'Existing .ca Domain' feature if the
name you are recalling information from existed in the old CDNNET database,
and has NOT been succesfully pre-registered with CIRA. Once
pre-registrations are over, we're going to remove this feature (as it simply
is no longer useful)

3) OverArching Reason which render 1/2 largley irrelvent:

AFTER you submit the domain registration order, your client/registrant will
receive an email asking whether they want to proceed with the Registration
as a new registrant (in which case any information included in the order
will be used) or to use an existing CIRA registrant profile, in which case
they enter the existing .ca name at that point.

I hope this clear things up; again, this will all be much less complicated
once pre-regsitrations are gone!

Thanks,

Ken
