I'm not referring to the RWI, actually, I am referring to live registration
systems driven by reg_system.cgi.

Again, I am referring to live registration systems driven by reg_system.cgi.
The customer only knows that 1) he has registered a domain with us before
and 2) the system is asking for the previously registered domain. When he
enters the requested info, the error is returned.

The customer does not actually get to submit an order, they get the error
"Your are using wrong interface to get all domain info for ..." and walk
away.

No, it doesn't clear it up yet... I am reasonably sure that this worked
previously, it seems to have broken sometime in the recent past. I am trying
to test this now in the test/rite environment but a newly registered .ca
name is stuck in Orders In Progress as "Waiting For Registry Response". Why
would a domain in the test/rite environment be waiting for any response from
the registry?
