Why would a verbal agreement - on the phone number listed with the Domain registration, not be adequate? Isn't that just like using the listed email address for verification?

That is, unless shown otherwise. Has anyone else here had a problem with eNom accepting a reseller's phone-call as verification for transfer? One of our clients had a tele-marketer call them to get them to switch, they confirmed by phone then called us to check on the validity of this. We told them "bad idea" -- they never got an e-mail from eNom, and it was the OpenSRS efforts that allowed us to NACK the transfer. What I'm saying is that eNom initiated a transfer with the registry without proper documentation (no fax from our client, no e-mail, no 'clicky-clickey' action... just a phone call that could have been from anyone with a credit card). -kb -- Kris Benson ABC Communications +1 (250)612-5270 x14 +1 (888)235-1174 x14
