I'm the same way.  I wouldn't use that as a reason to stop doing business
with someone, but it would be annoying as hell.

Is there even a problem with the current setup?  Are we trying to solve a
problem that doesn't exist yet?

The Md5Hash would be a cool idea, but probably more effort than required.
Of course this would be a hash that's only for this email support to avoid
obvious security issues that have already been mentioned on the list.  The
hash probably shouldn't be based on username either since some usernames
are pretty obvious.
