Hi Alex,

I believe others have done this via the reseller interface, but this may also be
done by scripting to the RWI.

my $cmd = {
  _method     => 'POST',
  domain      => "$domain",
  action      => "set_domain_lock",
  new_state   => $set_release,
};

Use this with an HTTP request & cookie set from the login.

Remember, this should only be done to the batch pool, and if you cron this, you
need to think about making a lock/unlock sticky. Some domains you may want to
keep locked, and others if your customer has requested you'll want to avoid
relocking.

I received news from a client today that Verisign is sending out their notices
even sooner now. This particular domain expires in July, and the reply to date
from VRSN is in May. Previously, I'd seen the reply to date set 40 days
following expiry.

We're taking the approach of locking domains in their targeted renewal period
for now.

Doug.
