I definitely agree with 2b and think 2a does more harm than good in lots of
cases. 2b is an excellent way to evangelize UCD, design in general, share
knowledge & enable role sharing, build team relationships, etc etc. Our IT
shop is practicing agile right now, and all of those things are absolutely
crucial to success.

Also has some tie in to Spool's recent UPA article where he challenges
designers to do less design and more education, among other things.
