You're saying that you're "running DSBridge in a Windows virtualbox virtual machine". On what kind of platform are you running this virtual machine? Is it in a native Windows environment or on a Mac? I'm running a Windows Home Server for my SqueezeServer and genreal data storage, and using a MacBook for evrything else. When I tried to run Spotify (and DSbridge) on my WHS I get problems with my soundcard so that Soptify will not run at all. Hence, that's not a good way forward. The solution then is either to run some kind of Windows environment on my Mac (but I really hesitate installing a full Windows on my Mac), or as I do now, to run Soptify on my MAc and stream the sound from Spotify using NiceCast. And then pick it up as a Favourite URL in SBS. This works very well. However, it does not give me any control over Spotify from my Controller. Do you have any suggestion for how I best can get Spotify working with my SqueezeBox? Thanks.
