I agree with toby. I'm mostly a classic (pre 1960) jazz fan and it is a
small part of my large collection. I'm either in the mood for "vocal
jazz" or "jazz" (the way I distinguish with my genre tags). I also use
"latin jazz" and "jazz fusion" as genre. So for me, my jazz collection
is found in:

1. jazz (for me all non-vocal jazz)
2. jazz fusion (hard to describe my logic on this, lots of "modern"
stuff vs acoustic instrument jazz)
3. Vocal Jazz (any jazz with lots of vocals.....Ella, etc.)
4. Latin Jazz (latin tinged jazz, either vocal or not)
