Personally, I listen to whole albums. I generally search by band/lead artist, i.e. the named artist on a given recording, which is basically the same as how I listen to rock music. I've never had a desire or a reason want to search by sidemen or by instrument.
If I were to segment my jazz listening, the primary distinction would be acoustic vs. electric jazz, although there's plenty of blurring between the two. -- TiredLegs ------------------------------------------------------------------------ TiredLegs's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=6201 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=81898 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
