The weakest component in your setup is the Chrome Audio. Its ok but the DAC chip isnt the best but I assume you are using its optical out. Is there Ethernet behind your TV? If so Id get a Pi4 and set it up as a server and client. As regards the choice of DAC or Digi out I think it depends upon just how good the Beresford is and whether your amp has a suitable input for the TV sound. I run a Pi4 coupled with a Khadas USB Tone Board in my Living Room. The Khadas was about £100 with case and is quite highly rated in reviews but my TV audio is dealt with via hdmi arc. What input types are available on your amp?
