As I memtioned earlier, cmd-option-ctrl-f5 doesn't move the mouse,
even though it ays it's being moved. Mouse keys will sometimes move
it though it's guesswork figuring out which direction to go
sometimes, but I've never personally known ctrl-option-cmd-f5 to move
the mouse at all. So to me there are perhaps two issues, though I'm
not totally sure if they are completely separate. One issue is that
the key combination that supposedly moves the mouse doesn't; the
other issue is the fact that the mouse pointer, vo cursor and
keyboard focus get so far off track from each other sometimes in the
first place. Some people install an app and have no mouse pointer
issues; others have such issues occasionally and a few have this
issue almost every time they try to run an installer; I know it's
happened to me in safari as well; it isn't even just an installer app
issue.
