In which case, it's a very very serious bug in VO which shouldn't even have got passed the beta test cycle, if there ever was one. Another thing about VO which I find verry irritating is that often, when using Mail to reply to a message, the verbosity settings are being totally ignored. I have VO keyboard verbosity set to word mode. Yet as I type my replies, it reverts to a combination of character echo and word echo. This is often very distracting to me, as I type quickly. Again, whatever happened to VO in beta? Was it ever tested by users at all, or was all Apple's beta cycle kept in house?

As I memtioned earlier, cmd-option-ctrl-f5 doesn't move the mouse, even though it ays it's being moved. Mouse keys will sometimes move it though it's guesswork figuring out which direction to go sometimes, but I've never personally known ctrl-option-cmd-f5 to move the mouse at all. So to me there are perhaps two issues, though I'm not totally sure if they are completely separate. One issue is that the key combination that supposedly moves the mouse doesn't; the other issue is the fact that the mouse pointer, vo cursor and keyboard focus get so far off track from each other sometimes in the first place. Some people install an app and have no mouse pointer issues; others have such issues occasionally and a few have this issue almost every time they try to run an installer; I know it's happened to me in safari as well; it isn't even just an installer app issue.
