Agreed! Pratik, I also really appreciate your post, as well as you
mentioning on list beforehand about the issue, so I was kind of
prepared. <smile> Yes it was difficult to listen to and I can
imagine your frustration at the time.
As I too had said earlier, props to you for supporting the cause!
<smile> It's really important for Mac users to be willing to offer
their time if they can, as you did. the important thing is that you
tried, and it means a bunch!…
I think the Macintosh option for people is a really good one and
the more who see that it even exists as an option, the better.
Hope you / yours have had a great Easter and catch ya on the flip!…
Smiles,
Cara :)

Hi Pratik,
I appreciate your posting of the blog. I would imagine that you felt
particularly bad about the whole thing. As I mentioned, it was most
certainly a frustrating experience even listening to it. That said,
I applaude your willingness to participate in the first place. I
know how difficult it is to get up in front of an audience and be
put on the spot. When something goes wrong, it's a terrible feeling,
naturally.I'm sorry you had to experience that.
It's probably true that it might've disuaded a few potential
switchers but I'm confident that this will only be temporary. One
set back won't be irreparable. As the Mac OS gains popularity, as it
is always doing, VoiceOver, I'm sure, will improve and will
undoubtedly become more and more attractive to potential switchers
in the blind community.
Again, thanks for the blog post and I appreciate your contributions.
Best,
slau
