I appreciate your posting of the blog. I would imagine that you felt
particularly bad about the whole thing. As I mentioned, it was most
certainly a frustrating experience even listening to it. That said, I
applaude your willingness to participate in the first place. I know how
difficult it is to get up in front of an audience and be put on the spot.
When something goes wrong, it's a terrible feeling, naturally.I'm sorry you
had to experience that.
It's probably true that it might've disuaded a few potential switchers but
I'm confident that this will only be temporary. One set back won't be
irreparable. As the Mac OS gains popularity, as it is always doing,
VoiceOver, I'm sure, will improve and will undoubtedly become more and more
attractive to potential switchers in the blind community.
Again, thanks for the blog post and I appreciate your contributions.
