of course you can create a form in text edit, that's what html is for and you can do good html stuff in text edit. I'm afraid what are called word processors today are overgrown well, text editors if you will. Text edit is more of a word processor than word will ever be again if it ever was. Now, We need a new name for them wps on steroids.
