and back it with vo or a 3rd party could develop an app that
talks. there
is a hardware device for the IPod called ITel I think that

So out of curiosity, how would you make an iPhone
accessible? Obviously
it needs a speech engine, but how do you interact? There is
no tactile
UI. I think it's a lot like a touch screen kiosk and some
have simple
instructions saying to touch the top left for yes or top
right for no.
That kind of interaction model doesn't scale very well for
complex
interaction like typing an email . Not making excuses for
Apple but this
seems like a tough nut to crack.
