1. getting tamlugim by taxing downloader is something that akum already
does...
this needs regulating, and the whole article was against regulating.
2. If a person downlads a track from my cd, and hence will not buy it, i am
losing money.
3. the amount of time a person had studied is rellevant to the value of his
knowledge and abilities.

Fine, no one argue about that, if someone uses the work to make money he
should pay for its use.
More than that now she'll also get money when people download her songs.
Since there are more downloaders than radio station and since it will
allow easy way for her to get tamlugim from
online radio stations, her income will increase by much.
BTW notice she didn't mention CD selling as earning, I guess it's not a
big part of it?
More than that, downloading songs give you free advertisment making you a
lot less depended on publishers and the mood of radio stations.
It gives non mainstream music a much larger crowed than it could possibly
gain now.

It's because the idea is a modern invetion of money thirsty people.
I think the honorable lady did not see the suggestion to gain tamlugim by
taxing downloaders
I wonder what she will think about it.
