I can't say I have ever had much close contacts with Arabs - I had a good
Arab friend in college, but he dropped out to study in Italy after one year,
and he was a Druze, so may not count as a true representative. The rest of
my Arab classmates mostly kept to themselves. So I am not going to
generalize. I suppose there are some good, some bad and many indifferent.
The problems usually arise from the fringes, especially opposite fringes, or
from people with personality problems or bad personal experience.

On my previous question: I am not saying what Mint is doing is illegal or
whatever. I am saying that on the one hand, maybe I should encourage people
who are pro-Israel to accept his wish and avoid using his software, in
groups from several countries. The question is how do I want to treat this
thing - that paying attention to the guy's stupid position is doing him a
favor and thus he should be ignored, or that making a stink about it may
take politics out of Linux.
