Well, after having things checked out a bit, I found that it wasn't
really any of those problems...it was bad gas.  The station I had been
buying gas from creates 89 octane by mixing low and high grade fuel,
and they may not be mixing it properly, so probably the gas I was
using was too low of an octane (watch out for that comapany with a
yellow sign that starts with an s) This was discovered when they ran
their tanks dry, and I was getting AIR comeing out of the hose, and
getting charged for it.   To say the least I won't be going back to
that station ever again.

I switched to a different brand of gas and it ran much better.

In either case, the car is currently up for sale as I have bought a
2000 Intrepid ES  :)

The 93 just needs tires, and it will be a good car for a long while yet.
