Sorry.....I guess that I wasn't very clear.

When I swapped the coil pack & spark plug between #5 & #3.....the problem 
stayed with the #5 cylinder.  This eliminated those (2) parts from the issue.

            I had this exact same problem.  The coil itself would 
intermittently fail.

 Moving the coil moved the problem.  It was infrequent enough that I lived

with it, but junkyard coils are cheap and plentiful now.  Buy at least two.
