Hello Angel,

The Dimona Mark 2 started with serial #36220.
The fuel filter position had changed by then.

Regards,
John.

  Hi again Angel,

The sprung tailwheel can have the shimmy problem, mine had it until I fixed
the spindle.

From the photo I suspect your Dimona is a Mark 2. Serial # 362??

  John.

    Hi Angel

There was a mandatory modification (I will look for the documentation when
I am next at the hangar) which re-positioned the fuel filter on the bulkhead
behind the luggage compartment. The filter is accessed by removing the
inspection panel in the bulkhead (4 screws). This is better than cutting holes
in the fuselage!

Incidentally, the sprung tailwheel will solve your vibration problems.

    Regards

    Michael

    Hi John,

Thank you for your answer, I will remove the vertical spindle for revision.
Now i'm thinking to change the antique tailwheel for sprung tailwheel, maybe
the vibrations disappear.
Certanly landing on the grass, recuce vibrations.

    Regards,

    Angel

P.S. Another question, I have to change the fuel filter but I noticed that
it's neccesary to remove the fuel tank!!, and it is necesary to change every 50
hours. I think the problem end making a search below the fuselage skin but
reinforce the zone . Do you now if somebody made this search?

I apologize for so many questions, I adquired reciently the plane and
sometime I was a little lost, also for the language because I do not speak
English, only Spanish.
