Drop it already they want to close the list that's there call.. Its there
decision and they have presented there case . deal with it they have a right
to run their business efficiently just like we all do. So if you don't like
it go else where but dame life is to short to whine about it so long.!!!!
Tucows is one of the most customer responsive companies I have ever seen
They have keep this list active for a few not the majority and we all know
that's not how a business keeps going.

I have to admit I don't understand the bulk of this. OK, the server being
old I understand. However, the list is running the newest version of
Mailman, a package that is actively maintained. In fact the version it is
running was just released in Sept, so we can harldy call it 'old'.
Further, the list software (mailman) has automatic bounce detection to
automaticly remove bad addresses. So I don't get the idea that this
software
is 'old and clunky'. In fact Mailman mailing lists are one of our
products.
Heck if you wanted to delegate discuss.tucows.com to me, I could continue
to
run the same list, keeping the archive intact !
But at least it's staying in some form. I've asked for an invite
privately.
