hi gang,

i really like the bulbs you have come up with jim. they can be mounted so that they are at a right angle. looks very versatile. in some places my bulbs are not as bright as i would like. leds are directional so its sometimes difficult to get the beam of the bulb where you want it. i have been selling some these bulbs ebay. so far i have good feedback from users on the color. everyone has responded that the blue is very close to the "drake blue". they are bright and dont give off the purple shadows in the corners or produce a over bearing blue. they also look like the original bulb shape. you can follow the link below for photos.

The reason appears to be that the "white" paint on the reflectors of the dial and meter housing tends to yellow with age, and this is where the

After thinking about this for a minute, I realised that the 7-line
doesn't have white reflectors. The gold-colored anodising on the
aluminum chassis must be having the same effect. Soooo .... who wants
to take a can of spray paint to thier TR7 and report back? :)

I like the LED replacements for the 7-line mostly because of the PITA
factor of pulling the DR7 to change the PTO lamp. That's a recipe for
disaster if I've ever seen one.
