Good morning everyone: I stayed up last night and did the resistance checks.
Found one tube (V17 - 6AQ5) which when checking it you could warble the tube and the measurements would change drastically. So I had another and changed it and now it is much more stable. Thought I had found the problem and tried again to no avail. So I took it apart again and cleaned the relay contacts. It seems to be rx'ing better, but still wont transmit anything. I am planning on doing voltage measurements today sometime, unless anyone has another idea. It is such a laborious task I am open to another suggestion Hi Hi Bob AD5VJ > -----Original Message----- > From: [email protected] > [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of AD5VJ Bob > Sent: Sunday, January 10, 2010 9:46 PM > To: 'Mark Nace'; [email protected]; 'Drakelist' > Subject: Re: [Drakelist] TR-3 > > Yeah there is not even the bulb holder in there.
