This is the one I see for the DSPAM package: Depends: ${misc:Depends}, procmail | maildrop | courier-maildrop | sensible-mda, lsb-base (>= 3.0-6), ${shlibs:Depends} I think you need to add there a dependency to Perl since a bunch of helper scripts are written in Perl.
