Free PPP 1.0.5 has a ConfigPPP control panel but I never saw one
in versions 2.5.2 or 2.6.2. I have found find FreePPP, especially the
latest version (2.6.2) the most troublesome to get going on pre-system
8 Macs. In fact I could never get 2.6.2 to dial and connect reliably.

MacPPP 2.5 is the most idiot proof dialer to set up IMHO because it
works without having to know what anything what a modem script is,
the precodure to get one, test it, refiddle with it, etc.
