I have the same problem I brought to the list before, that of two 1"
stripes in the right half of my 2300's screen.  The first time I reseated
the screen plug on the MB the first stripe dimmed and receeded into the
background, and subsequently it came back, and reseating the plug had no
effect.  I took the screen off, and tried to take it apart but gave up, as
I had difficulty getting the front and back of the screen apart and was
leary of breaking something.  Help!
