Keep in mind that he swapped a totally different screen onto the 2300 and
got the same garbled image. So it doesn't sound like it's related to the
screen. Especially since the Duo230 screen that he used plugs into a
different video port on the motherboard.
I wish I could offer a solution but I'm sure it's not the screen based on
his information.
