I've used pvc/abs purple primer and abs plastic cement and worked very
well. It's the type you
would use when putting together your lawn sprinkler system. Just mask off
the outside of the case,
prime, and apply cement. Use a couple of spring clips until the cement sets
up. Since the abs cement
is black it blends nicely with the plastic case. In fact, you can't even
tell it's been taken apart if you're
careful in doing a neat job. All materials are available at your local home
depot.
