Always is this time of year. Summer doesn't get here until
mid-august... just about time for school to start again. =)

Heh, tourists never learn...
That steady track of bad weather we get here for 9 months out of the
year (in the pacific northwest) doesn't just disappear in the summer,
it just redirects north to Alaska.
The only good time to visit Alaska is in mid to late September, early
October... just before the snow arrives in volume. (Sorry if I'm
giving any secrets away... if there are any Alaskans here on the list)
