Hi all!

Thanks for sharing your supply/demand experience with us, Bill. I don't
really use my 2400 as a portable, so I just stopped using the battery
altogether and always run on a/c when I found out the batteries were so
expensive. I am conerned that when I want to sell my 2400, though, there
won't be any batteries available for the new owner to buy. I would buy one
now and save it, but I think they stop holding a charge after a while
anyway, don't they? (Also, my mom has hinted that she would like my
computer when I eventually get a new one, and I think she would just use
the a/c too, so perhaps it won't be a problem.) Anyway, that's just my two
cents...I figure maybe the low response is because people don't want to
fork out so much money for something they *might* need later. Maybe people
think they will be upgrading soon anyway, and perhaps their current battery
will last until then?
