about 10 people. Then I posted here again asking for interest if I ran into
more--I got 3 responses.

P.S. I can still get brand new ones from Japan but they run $280 each. When
I suggested on this list putting together a buy, I didn't get enough takers

All due respects, Bill, the prices for new ones in Japan are rediculously
HIGH. I have a g3 Lombard that with the new battery will last about 4 hours,
and THAT battery I got for $100. So it's hard to justify the extra cash
output for a battery that might give us one hour if we're lucky. I love the
2400c, don't get me wrong, and I remain THRILLED doing business with you, and
would have jumped on the batteries you had but I was late in checking my
email that week, and your prices are reasonable, but I think that most of us
who need batteries were counting on perhaps BTI to come out with a new model.
I paid $185 for a new battery on Ebay, and that was ONLY because I got
carried away in the auction fever and wanted that battery badly, plus the
seller was from Boston too....but I will do what I can to put a list together
of those of us who seriously want a backup battery and forward that list to
you if you want.
Let me know. And anyone else who wants to be on the list, please email me
off newsgroup.
thanks
Alan
