Well, here is a quote from one of our biggest tp's that we wish to
go AS2 with: "It is important to note that the EDIINT product used
by the trading partner must be one the products certified by The
Drummond Group, Inc. This certification is extremely important as it
ensures that the various software solution are "interoperable" based
on the standards defined for AS1 or AS2 internet transmissions. A
current list of software products that have been interoperable
certified can be found on their web page (www.drummondgroup.com)"

And here is another quote from another of our biggest tp's that we
also wish to go AS2 with: "...a product that is interoperable with
our Cyclone Interchange Server, (a product that has been certified
as compliant with the EDIINT-AS2 standard to exchange EDI documents
over the Internet).
The Uniform Code Council (UCC) has sponsored interoperability tests
of EDIINT-AS2 compliant software and plans to sponsor additional
tests in the future. At the current time, these companies and
products have passed the interoperability tests.
See http://www.uc-council.org for an up to date list of companies
and products that are interoperable."

So, it is clear that none of the more inexpensive AS2 s/w products
are on this/these list(s) and perhaps, as someone pointed out,
because there is a need to pay a fee and re-certify each year.
