Jorge,
Basically, you cannot share an serial RS-232 connection between devices,
with one exception: It is possible to have a receive-only device monitor
[eavesdrop or "listen in" on] the TXD or RXD signals. It can't transmit
though.
"So now I lost the feature to change antennas automatically when I
change bands on the K3"
Do you mean that you changed your connection back from the remoterig to
your local equipment and that no longer works?
I use an A/B data switch to switch my K3 CAT port between the local
computer when I'm operating with my home antenna, and the remoterig for
when I'm operating W7RN remotely.

Hello
At my station, I have Elecraft K3, Bandmaster III, SixPack, CAT cable
connected to K3´s RS232
So when I change bands in the radio, antenna is selected automatically
through CAT cable and band decoder (Bandmaster III)
Today I connected remoterig box, so needed to remove CAT cable to connect
remoterig.
So now I lost the feature to change antennas automatically when I change
bands on the K3
How can I do to share RS232 to have CAT and remoterig at the same time?
thanks,
Jorge
