I would hope that if the log is currently set to start listing new mail on relaunch of the application, then it should not be too far to make that log start again when one collect mail. Like you, most of the rest of us keep our email running and collecting mail all day. A little AppleScript might relaunch the application so the log restarted. Anyway, can someone let us know what this feature is like?
